South Jakarta's Jatipadang Urban Village has digitized its civil registry services through a new platform named Sistem Jati Padang Go Online (SI JAGO).
Information is now faster, clearer, and transparent
Developed by the local Civil Registration Executive Unit, the platform aims to accelerate document processing while sparing residents from making multiple trips to local government offices.
Pasar Minggu Sub-district Civil Registration Sector Head Anneke Iriany Fauzie highlighted IT adoption as essential for upgrading public services in line with changing times.

She explained that authorities are actively promoting SI JAGO during community gatherings, such as routine mosquito breeding site clearance efforts.
“With SI JAGO, Jatipadang residents can file civil registration applications independently without leaving home by visiting https://sites.google.com/view/sijago-jatipadang/si-jago-jati-padang,” she explained.
According to her, SI JAGO offers strategic benefits for both the public and service agencies, notably reducing counter queues at subdistrict and district offices.
Further, the digital platform allows residents to access services more conveniently and rapidly from anywhere, saving them travel time and transportation costs.
“With just a smartphone at home, residents can readily access civil administration services,” she noted.
Anneke hoped that SI JAGO would make local civil administration more effective and accessible.
“Information is now faster, clearer, and transparent. SI JAGO also closes loopholes and prevents illegal brokers,” she stated.
